Belarusian ballet school

In 1945 starts working Ballet School Republic of Belarus. Since 2009 -  Belarusian Choreographic College-Gymnasium. BSCGS is the only in Belarus training facilities dancers.The teaching College is not just based on training the body,but on caring for the whole person body, mind and spirit. Both parents and children appreciate that here is a place where caring, qualified and experienced teachers can help children understand, remember, and continue to try harder, and that improvement only comes with application and dedication. Vintage 60's Beat Band from Belarus

THE STAMPLETONS - early tapes DoLP Formed in 2009, the Stampletons is a 60´s style Beat band from Belarus. Shortly afterwards they released a first album as a limited local edition.  Everything about the band was right – the clothes, the haircuts, the sound, the attidude and as a first appreciation the Russian band the Cavestompers invited them to play a show in Moscow. Not only that but one year later they recorded their 2nd album live at the Doo-Dah King bar, Minsk, which never saw the light of day and soon after this recordings the band fractured. Matrioska

A tutti sarà capitato di vedere almeno una volta  una MATRIOSKA esposta su qualche banchetto del mercato o in qualche abitazione. La matrioska è il souvenir sovietico per eccellenza. In molti le apprezzano, alcuni le collezionano, ma probabilmente in pochi sanno la storia della matrioska e delle sue origini ed è per questo che decidiamo di raccontarvi la sua “leggenda”. Yuliya Skalkovich crowned Miss Belarus 2012

Yuliya Skalkovich of the Brest region won the title of Miss Belarus 2012 in the final of the annual beauty contest hosted by the Palace of Sport in Minsk on May 4.  Ms. Skalkovich resides in Kleyniki, a village near Brest.  Viktoryya Shavel, who resides in a village close to Homyel, was named the first runner-up, while Anastasiya Pahranichnaya of Zhodzina, Minsk region, was the second runner-up.  The winner took the crown made of white gold, which she will have to hand over to the next winner in the 2013 pageant, and collected a prize of 50 million rubels ($6,250). She will represent Belarus in the Miss World contest, while the other finalists will be able to enter pageants such as Miss Europe, Miss Intercontinental...
